The legal landscape of the U.S. workplace is ever-changing and keeping abreast of current legal developments is vital to employers.
We will spend an informative hour covering key developments in Minnesota, North Dakota, and federal employment law as well as issues of current concern for employers and HR professionals.
1. Review North Dakota and Minnesota state law updates
2. Focus on recent developments in federal law.
3. Review the rapidly changing environment for employers and recent federal agency action of concern, including the NLRB’s encompassing guidance on employer handbooks.
4. Answer participant questions on these and related issues.
About the Speaker:
Lisa Edison-Smith practices exclusively in all areas of employment and labor law and is a Certified Labor and Employment Law Specialist certified by the Minnesota State Bar Association.
