Conflict provides powerful clues to understanding the nature of the upset related to two profound issues – 1. What the parties care about and 2. What the parties think is unfair. Learn about 3 models that give insight into conflicted conversations and conflicted relationships.

2. Experience the cycle of conflict from your own case study
   
3. Increase your ability to listen inside of conflicts from learning to distinguish between a position and an intent
   
4. Get clarity on the two reasons people get into conflict – 1. What they care about and 2. What they think is unfair

About the Speaker: 

Gail Nelson is a therapist for individuals, couples, and families. She uses her training from the UND Conflict Resolution Center to unwind upset for individuals and groups. She has assisted in dozens of work groups to get out of conflict into more productive relationships.
