Program Summary 

With the discipline and sacrifice that comes with military service, Veterans are undoubtedly a valuable asset to your organization. During this interactive session, we will help you build the business case to attract, recruit and hire Transitioning Military Service Members & Veterans. This session will be limited to 10 attendees to help facilitate open discussions. Please come ready to participate in group conversations.

Attendees will learn the following:

1.       Building the Business Case for hiring Military Service Members &  Veterans
2.       Attracting Military Service Members & Veteran Candidates to Your Company
3.       Translating Military Experience into Position Specific Skills
4.       Interviewing Military Service Members & Veterans


About the Speakers:

Sabrina Olsen has a passion for learning and an energy for people. She currently is the Director of HR and Talent Development at Alliance Management Group. She also serves as the FMHRA Workforce Readiness Director. Some of Sabrina’s favorite things are spending time at the lake, chair dancing at live concerts, and winning in every board, card or lawn game known to mankind.

Rachel Olson has a passion for continuous development and the people experience. She is currently a Senior HR Generalist at Gate City Bank. She serves on the board for FMHRA as the Programming Director, on NDSHRM as the Workforce Readiness Director, for SHRM as a Veterans at Work Ambassador, and for DisruptHR Fargo as a co-organizer of the event. Some of Rachel’s favorite things include traveling, kayaking, camping and golfing.
