What is a Value Worth? Exploring Personal & Organizational Values

In this session, participants will explore and clarify their own personal values, and gain an understanding of how to use them effectively to make values-based life and career decisions.  Participants will also discuss the role of values in creating and alleviating conflict, on an individual and organizational level.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Increase awareness of personal values, and how they shape individual attitudes and behaviors
  2. Increase awareness of how individual values can lead to conflict and exclusion
  3. Application of organizational values assessment
  4. Understanding of methods to define and articulate organizational values

About the Speaker:  

Pari Becker leads Talent and Organizational Effectiveness for Titan Machinery. Pari has over a decade of experience in Human Resources, Leadership Development and Succession Planning. Pari is a certified co-active leadership coach, and CliftonStrengths coach. Pari completed her undergraduate degrees at the University of North Dakota, and holds a Master's degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Minnesota State University-Mankato.

The November Mini-Conference is free for FMHRA members & student members.

Non-members: Please register and submit payment one week prior to the mini-conference. $40 charge for the mini-conference.
