Program Summary:

We see the headlines that artificial intelligence is doing some fantastic things, but what does this new technology mean for the workplace? In this session, the author of “Artificial Intelligence for HR” will examine key areas of applications for AI, including recruiting, employee engagement, and service delivery. Interestingly, research shows that AI is really great for some purposes and completely terrible at others. This session will also highlight key opportunities to leverage the critical skills that separate humans from machines.

Learning Objectives:

1. Knowledge of key applications for AI in a more automated workplace

2. Awareness of areas where AI can be biased, negatively impacting workers and candidates

3. Emphasis on the human skills of work that AI can’t replace

4. Knowledge of how to identify potential opportunities for automation in the business
