Program Summary 

Each of our 4 panelists will be representing a personality assessment tool – DiSC, Real Colors, Predictive Index, and Clifton Strengths. The panelists will share what their assigned tool looks like/measures, reports generated (if applicable), and what the results will indicate. Each panelist will share how the tool has been beneficial to their organization/teams, impacted culture, and/or any additional pros/cons from their experiences.

Learning Objectives

This will cover the following topics:

1. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about 4 popular personality assessment tools.

2. Attendees will be able to note comparisons in the tools that may apply to their own company.

3. Attendees will hear any success stories panelist have with their tool as well as pros/cons.

4. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions about the tools after the presentation portion.

About the Panelists:

Kacie Weber is an Organizational Development Specialist for First International Bank and Trust in Fargo. Her role focuses on organization-wide training, personal and professional development initiatives and instructional design. She is a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach helping individuals and teams explore their talents and grow their strengths. Kacie volunteers for the ND Chapter of the Association for Talent Development as the VP of Communication, and on the board for FMHRA as the Communication Director.

Heather Ostrowski is an Organizational Development Specialist for Gate City Bank. She brings over 20 years of experience in management, sales, speaking, writing and team/personal/professional development.

She is a joyful connector of people to other people or resources they may need. She serves as a public speaker on a variety of topics to diverse audiences. She also enjoys working for companies that support giving back to our communities and has been involved in organizations including; TNT, FMHRA, Disrupt HR, United Way, Salvation Army, #CyInFargo, Chamber Leadership and Ambassador, Great Plains Food Bank and The Ronald McDonald House.

She enjoys living in Moorhead with her husband, Jeremy, sons, Ethan and Adam and labradoodles, Eddie and Chase. They are active in baseball, soccer and finding creative ways to give back to our community.

Kelsey Buell is a risk-taking, socially poised, and motivating team builder. She is also an accomplished violinist and singer having performed in front of audiences as large as 20,000. She has given over 200 presentations on networking skills, communication strategies, and behavioral assessments. She has a strong passion for training and development. As a corporate recruiter, she has conducted over 2,000 candidate interviews. And through her experience, she uncovered the fact that many people are disengaged in their jobs. Kelsey’s goal is to help leaders discover ways to prevent burnout and reduce employee turnover.

Kristina Astrup is currently serving as the Interim Director of Human Resources at NDSU and is also the Associate Director of Organizational Development. Kristina joined NDSU in December 2019 and provides training and development opportunities for faculty, staff, and administration. During the last year she’s had the opportunity to develop and implement an university-wide leadership development program focusing on the importance of emotional intelligence, crucial conversations, open and transparent communication, and employee engagement. She is also a certified Real Colors Facilitator. She resides in Moorhead, MN with her husband, two daughters, and their spoiled goldendoodle, Brinkley.
