Connective Communication for a Connected Community

To Register:  Connective Communication for a Connected Community

Thursday, December 2 - 8:30-9:30 AM

Presented via Zoom

Speaker: Sherry Bruckner

Program Summary

At the heart of every conflict is a basic need. It may be a need for connection and support at home or clarity and respect in the workplace or an organization. Yet, people often avoid talking about the real underlying issues or do so in a way that creates further disconnection, confusion, or disrespect. In Connective Communication, you will learn to consciously choose desired results, recognize the connection between feelings and needs, and practice basic Non-Violent Communication (NVC) tools.

Learning Objectives

1. Understand how we create connection in each interaction

2. Consciously choose desired results

3. Recognize the connection between feelings and needs

4. Gain confidence in practicing basic Non-violent Communication (NVC)
