Drew Moldenhauer is the driving force behind Blue Ethos Specialized Training, where he serves as Owner and Master Instructor. His mission is to equip individuals and organizations with essential skills in active threat response, de-escalation, and situational awareness. As a sought-after international speaker, Drew captivates audiences with practical, real-world insights gained from his extensive law enforcement career and academic expertise.
With over 18 years of distinguished service in law enforcement, Drew has excelled in critical roles, including Active Shooter Instructor, Use of Force Instructor, and Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Instructor. Currently, he serves as a licensed officer with the City of Osseo Police Department, ensuring that officers are fully prepared to handle high-stakes situations, mental health crises, and complex ethical challenges.
Drew's commitment to academic excellence is reflected in his Master’s Degree in Public Safety Executive Leadership from St. Cloud State University. He has shared his expertise as an Adjunct Professor at prominent institutions such as Hamline University and Concordia University St. Paul, in addition to a full-time teaching role at Metropolitan State University. His teaching spans a wide range, from foundational law enforcement principles to advanced tactical strategies.
