Uncovering Leadership blind spots:  discovering the pathway to motivating your in-person and remote teams

              July 23rd, 2020

    8:30 AM to 9:30 AM

    Presented via Zoom

To Register:  Uncovering Leadership Blind Spots: Discovering the Pathway to Motivating Your In-Person and Remote Teams

    Program Summary

Leadership matters, whether working offsite or in person. Most leaders "think" they’re demonstrating the qualities of an effective leader, but the findings from a new study indicate otherwise. Through a recent global employee study, Dale Carnegie identified specific areas where leaders are falling short – we call these “leadership blind spots”. Join us as we identify the leadership attributes that are critical to organizational performance and find out what leaders may be missing as employees return to working together onsite.

    Learning Objectives

This will cover the following topics:

    • Identify key leadership characteristics that motivate and inspire people
    • Uncover critical leadership behaviors and examine their impact on employee satisfaction and retention
    • Consider perceptions of our own leadership and ways we can be more effective leading people in person or remotely

    About the Speaker:

Katie Munion is from Harvey, ND and earned her degree in Business Administration from NDSU. Her career started in recruiting for technology and professional services firms. She was a Talent Manager at Eide Bailly Technology Consulting for 7 years and then for 4 years at Alerus Financial in Fargo and Grand Forks. While living in Fargo, she was an active member of FMHRA (Fargo Moorhead Human Resource Association) and served on the board for 2 different 2 year terms. Katie joined the Dale Carnegie team as highly leveraged contract trainer in 2015 and in 2019 became the VP of Training and Quality. She is a Dale Carnegie Certified Trainer in multiple core programs and has extensive experience delivering customized training solutions for clients across various industries.
